Licensing philosophy
Digital data should be free. Not free in terms of cost, everything has a price, but free in terms of using, improving, and building upon in order to make a more brilliantly cool world. Unless otherwise noted, everything I produce is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 Unported license. In short, you’re allowed to use and reuse this intellectual capital as long as you’re not making money from it. Now that wouldn’t be right, would it? If you are planning on making money on the work I’ve created, please contact me and we’ll figure something out.
If you do use one of my posts, photos, or other such intellectual property non-commercially (in pursuit of the greater good), all I ask is that you link to my website and shoot me a short note about what you’re using it for. Good luck!
Lastly, if you came to this page because of a link on one of my photos that says “Please don’t copy, yet“, please do contact me before you publish the image elsewhere. It’s probably not ready to be released into the wild yet. Thanks!
